by Michael Elyanow, directed by Noël Raymond and stars Kate Guentzel, Kurt Kwan, Jim Lichtscheidl, Tracey Maloney, and Michelle O’Neill
Is it possible to survive a difficult childhood and go on to have a good life? The Children is a wildly theatrical, richly layered bend on classic literature infused with a contemporary twist. Based on Euripides’ Greek tragedy Medea, interwoven with events of the not so distant past, The Children delivers a whimsical combination of live action and puppetry that unwinds to an extraordinary journey of survival, hope and growth through the healing power of love.
