Space to Experiment
What happens when artists have the space to experiment, take risks, and bring new ideas to the stage?
This November, Naked Stages brings together three Minnesota performance artists exploring sound, movement, memory, and transformation through original works developed as part of Pillsbury House + Theatre’s artist development program.
Naked Stages invites audiences to experience new performance work as it takes shape, offering a look at the distinct artistic practices of three emerging Minnesota artists.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on October 17!

Original Technology Garden
Our bodies, souls, sound, movement, intelligence, and connections are our original technology. This session is focused on SOUND.
Join PH+T Community-Engaged Artist Mankwe Ndosi and composer/producer/magician Maje Adams to work sound as portal, as medicine, as tending for self and community.
This is a participatory experience—using sound to tend our insides and our spirits. No performing, but meditation, collective vibe making, and energetic skill building. Bring water, a pillow, and willingness to play with self and others.

An Immersive Art Experience
Minneapolis multidisciplinary artist Salma Hamari is raising funds for Dear Friend 2, a free, week-long immersive art exhibition exploring memory, identity, belonging, and connection.
Through projected landscapes, light, water-inspired movement, botanical forms, and handwritten reflections, the exhibition will create a space for visitors to engage with art and one another.
With a focus on accessibility and welcoming BIPOC and disabled communities, Dear Friend 2 aims to make art accessible without the barrier of admission fees.
The project is seeking $25,000 through Kickstarter by November 16, 2026, to support exhibition space, artist labor, accessibility resources, and installation materials.
Support the campaign and help bring Dear Friend 2 to Minneapolis.
