Pillsbury House + Theatre (PH+T) is thrilled to announce performance dates for the 2023 Naked Stages Fellows: Dakota Blankenship and Yoni Light this November 9 – 18, 2023! Supported by the Jerome Foundation, the Naked Stages program is an important part of the bold initiative of Pillsbury House Theatre’s mainstage program and has been part of a vital effort to provide mentorship and support to early career performances artists in Minnesota. This year’s performances highlight their personal and unique talents that they have honed over the course of the 7-month fellowship.
Unfortunately, Naked Stages fellow snem DeSellier is unable to perform their work at this time with us due to unforseen circumstances. We wish the absolute best for snem and hope that we can bring their vision for ‘grief hole: round hole’ to life in the future.
“They are working as a beautiful cohort,” said Naked Stages Director Masanari Kawahara. “They started right off as a unit and continuing to help critiquing each other’s works. Now they are working with their directors cultivating working relationship to refine their works towards the November performances. Through witnessing their visions manifest and continue to transform, I am excited to see what they will present. I am thankful to be part of their journey.”
