In 1996, Pillsbury House Theatre staged the first performance of the Chicago Avenue Project series (CAP). Twenty years later, we’re still going strong. The saying goes “Time flies when you’re having fun,” and we’ve definitely had plenty of it!! And now it’s time to celebrate and remember all of the wonderful experiences we’ve had with the Chicago Avenue Project. April 18 and 19 join us at It’s Not Rocket Science: The Best of The Chicago Avenue Project fundraiser and celebration. It’s free and family friendly. On the April 19 show at 7 pm there will be past and present participants in the program, a photo display, video of performances, food, a photo booth and a new presentation of CAP. Come celebrate with us the pairing of neighborhood kids with professional theatre artists to create original theater in our communities!!!
