Prompts on blackboards will be “What does it mean to feel powerful as an agent in our lives, relationships, and communities?”

  Lacey Prpić Hedtke Lacey will host a series of workshops for community members create Suffragette-inspired banners around the themes of resisting displacement in the neighborhoods. She will then lead a neighborhood march to cast a protective spell against gentrification that culminates in a feast in Powderhorn Park featuring food from neighborhood restaurants and cooks.

Wing Young Huie

  Wing Young Huie Wing will approach people, businesses, organizations, and places of worship and play in the four neighborhoods and collaborate with them to make photographic portraits based on questions such as, “Where do you wonder about most in your neighborhood?” The resulting images will be shown at the Third Place Gallery throughout August.
