Artists Lester Mayers and Nubia Monks are making March a month of healing at Pillsbury House + Theatre through our new MAKERS SERIES! Their month-long festival will feature two new play readings with facilitated talkbacks, two workshops for artists focused on African meditation & theatrical craft, and a musical-poetry concert screening that celebrates healing in all of its forms!

The healing festivities are starting March 5th, at 7pm, with a staged reading of A Lesson in Love – a Rom-Com, by Nubia Monks in collaboration with Darrick Mosley.
